FREE SAMPLE EDIT
I offer a free sample edit of the first ten pages of a full-length manuscript (2,500 words) to any writer who is looking for an editor. I'll offer developmental suggestions, line-edits, and copy-edits to help you communicate your story or piece of nonfiction more clearly. Of course, I hope that you'll hire me as your editor for the full piece, but the first ten pages are free regardless. My goal is to help you reach yours!

An objective view of the overall content, flow, and story development (yes, non-fiction has story development too!)
Fiction
I will read through your short story or novel-length draft and suggest big-picture edits. I will work with you to move to the next steps in your writing/publishing journey.
Non-fiction
Often an author knows her/his subject so well that they forget their reader might not be as familiar with the topic. I will help your piece clearly communicate your message.

Business/sales/Human Resource articles, pieces, and documents that need an objective eye to ensure continuity and clarity in their message.
Editing: Line
In depth analysis of each line to ensure it contributes to the big picture and make grammatical and punctuational corrections for clarity of your message.
Editing: THE BOOK BUNDLE
From your initial draft through copyedit, I'll work with you to make your manuscript the best it can be. Includes three rounds of editing: developmental/content edit, line edit, and copyedit. PLEASE NOTE: I believe that it is in your best interest to have another editor do your final proofread.
Proofreading
A final read-through before your piece goes to print to catch any stray commas, duplicate words, or other pesky distractions to your work.
